We have exciting news to share with you! Our development team has successfully completed the hard fork and is now ready for deployment. We would like to express our gratitude to our team for their hard work and dedication in making this happen.
We want to inform you that there have been some changes to the contents of the fork. Unfortunately, the planned change in block time to 1 minute will not be included in this update. However, we are committed to making this change in the future, and we will be conducting more work and tests to ensure its success. This update addresses the block discovery issues we’ve encountered due to unstable hashrates from a few pools.
The most significant changes in this update are the increased block target timespan to 504 blocks, as opposed to 2 blocks, and the decreased maximum hashrate increase to +100%, down from +200%.
We have set the planned hard fork block height at Block 103000. New client and node downloads will be available on Friday 05/05 or Saturday 06/05. We kindly ask all StohnCoin holders, exchanges, and mining pools to update before block 103000 to ensure a smooth transition. The mobile wallets will be available shortly after the hard fork goes live.
